You won't do better for the price. As long as your expectations are tempered a bit, you will love it. It was easy to set up. The built in usb cable is a great design choice. It's light weight but doesn't feel cheaply made. I've used it with both my mac and my pc. The menus are a bit counter intuitive, but I had it figured out within 20 minutes. Shoots action well. It also shoots in mp4, which makes it super easy to edit the videos on a mac or a pc. I've also been very pleased with the battery life. It also fits really nicely in my hand. I would recommend this for your basic home movies
