Ok. First off I bought this at Costco as a Nikon boxed kit... Came with a Roomy Bag , WiFi adapter and an additional 200mm Zoom lens... Around $750 with tax after a $250 rebate.
I'm selling my D40 on eBay this week... With the addition if WiFi and 1080p video, this camera now has everything I could ask in an quality vacation accessory. The only concern I have is the thickness of the camera body. It seems they used a lighter and thinner plastic that my D40. That makes it lighter, but it also make it feel a little cheap... But it's not a cheap camera. The features and functions are all well thought out and there's probably little a novice could ask for. Have not used the wifi yet but I read there is a learning curve and mobile phone software needed. The kit comes with a great bag and the only thing about the bag I don't like are the "clinky" sounding snap connectors that keep it closed. The additional lens is NIKKOR. I've seen kits on Amazon with a Non- Nikon/NIKKOR lens... They are not the same, lesser quality... The NIKKOR lens is standard issue on all Nikon cameras.
